BISP Kafalat Program 2023: Increased Payments for Low-Income Families

The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has started the 2023 tranche of its Benazir Kafalat program 2023, which provides financial assistance to low-income families in Pakistan. The amount of the payment has been increased by 25% from the previous year, to Rs. 9,000 per quarter.

To check their eligibility for the program, beneficiaries can send their CNIC to 8171. The BISP Kafalat program is different from the BISP Ehsaas 25,000 program, which was specifically launched for flood-affected people. Under the 8171 BISP Ehsaas program 25000 bisp 2023, families received  a one-time payment of Rs. 25,000, while under the BISP Kafalat program, beneficiaries receive Rs. 9,000 every quarter.

To check eligibility for either program, beneficiaries can visit the BISP website at www.8171.bisp.gov.pk.

BISP Kafalat Program 2023 Registration Process:

Step 1: Check Applicant Status:

First of all applicant who wants to receive BISP Rs 9000 kafalat amount have to to check his eligibility status.

• Send your female person of a family CNIC number to 8171
• If a female will be eligible for BISP kafalat program she will receive a confirmation sms about declaration of beneficiary of Bisp Program.
• Also keep in mind the applicant will only receive sms from Bisp official code 8171 and other than this code any sms or news about Bisp payment will be fraud .
• If your record is not found on 8171 portal www.8171.bisp.gov.pk than you have to visit nearest BISP tehsil office or Benazir registration desk to request them to visit your house for household survey.

Step 2:How to Receive Benazir Kafalat Cash Stipend

• If you are eligible for the Benazir Kafalat program, you will receive an SMS from 8171 after sending your CNIC to 8171. 
• Once you receive a confirmation sms from BISP then you have to visit your nearest BISP tehsil office or nearest HBL atm or bank.
• Swipe your CNIC at the POS/retailer to receive the first installment through biometric verification.
• Subsequent installments can be received from ATMs, POS/retailers, or designated BISP tehsil offices.

Step 3: How to Receive payments from BISP kafalat program:

• Check your eligibility for the BISP Kafalat program by sending your CNIC number to 8171.
• If you are eligible, you will receive an SMS with instructions on how to join the program.
• Go to the nearest POS in your tehsil or district with your original CNIC.
• Swipe your CNIC at the POS to receive your first cash grant through biometric verification.
• If you have any complaints, you can register them at the relevant BISP tehsil office.

BISP kafalat RS 9000 Cash amount updates June 2023

Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will release the 4th quarterly tranche of Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance on Monday, June 19, 2023. The amount of the tranche has been increased by 25%, so it will now be Rs. 9,000.

This increase was announced by the Federal Government earlier this year, and it is intended to help the poorest families in Pakistan. The beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafaalat program can collect their cash assistance from any BISP payment center.

To find the nearest BISP payment center, you have to visit BISP tehsil office or BISP payment registration centers.The next BISP kafalat quarterly tranche of RS 9000 is expected in December 2023.

BISP Kafalat Program vs. BISP Ehsaas 25,000 Program: What’s the Difference?

The BISP Kafalat program and the BISP Ehsaas 25,000 program are two separate social welfare programs in Pakistan. The BISP Kafalat program provides Rs. 9,000 to poor and impoverished individuals every 4 months, while the BISP Ehsaas 25,000 program provides Rs. 25,000 to flood-affected individuals.

The BISP Kafalat program is open to all eligible individuals, regardless of whether they were affected by the floods. The BISP Ehsaas 25,000 program, on the other hand, is only open to individuals who were affected by the floods in 2022.

So far, only one phase of the BISP Ehsaas 25,000 program has been conducted. However, many flood-affected people have yet to receive the Rs. 25,000 cash amount. As a result, the government of Pakistan is planning to announce the second phase of the 8171 Ehsaas program, which will allow people to check their eligibility online using their CNIC. The second phase of the Ehsaas 25,000 program will most likely begin in July 2023.
